THE ARCADES PAVILIONS
TYPE: PAVILION AND LANDSCAPE
STATUS: CONCEPT
The Arcades at Highland are a series of pavilions designed for a new residential development. The project draws inspiration from the Arch, one of civilization’s oldest architectural forms. A succession of contiguous arches creates an Arcade. We combined the typology of an Arcade with the natural form of a desert oasis to realize the idea for these pavilions. The Arch is also used as a module to vary the size of the sculptures, creating a uniform design language across the different sizes.
